Miguel is lawyer from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2016) and a Postgraduate in Private Economic Law from the same university (2018). 

Miguel Angel has litigation experience in civil, administrative and arbitration jurisdictions. During his undergraduate studies he obtained outstanding results in international competitions in commercial and investment arbitration, along with semester scholarships for the years 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he completed internships at the Civil Chamber of the High Tribunal of Bogotá and at the Legal Advisory Office of the National Planning Department. 

Prior to joining Guzmán Escobar & Asociados, he worked as a senior clerk at the 76th Municipal Civil Court of Bogotá, D.C. 

Miguel is part of the litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution area of GE&A where he has contributed to the successful representation of clients in commercial and administrative litigation before arbitration, ordinary and maritime courts. 

Valentina is Titulary Member of the Ibero-American Institute of Maritime Law – IIDM.
