Obtaining a Commercial Operating License (LEC) and Port Operator Registration (ROP)

GE&A has successfully represented companies interested in obtaining, extending, and modifying Commercial Operating Licenses (LEC) for the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR) and Port Operator Registrations (ROP) for the Transportation Superintendency. The need for one or the other permit arises from the performance of activities that regulations classify as maritime activities or port operation services, such as the supply of fuel to ships for their own consumption (bunkering).
